炎亞綸3年前滿20歳投票時，因為前晩還在拍攝「終極一班」，拍到半夜，卻仍一大早跑去投票，第一次投票的感覺很興奮，尤其自己支持的候選人選上，更覺得與有榮焉，炎亞綸正為「飛輪海」9月份開始的巡迴演唱會接受訓練，國二公民課本雖未提到，但得知照片被刊登在課本上，他很開心，不忘開玩笑説：「幸好不是負面教材。」
